Congratulations to Ms. Geeta Dave, Glasgow Middle's Talented Visual Art Teacher!

Ms. Dave was awarded the Michael Crespo Visual Art Fellowship. Created by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and funded by Cary Saurage to commemorate the life, work, and dedication of the late internationally recognized painter and LSU professor, the $5000 fellowship is intended to recognize the quality and breadth of work by a visual artist who has established their personal and professional lives as a long-time contributing member of the Baton Rouge community. Ms. Dave's piece, Power of Intuition, was chosen as this year's winner by Catherine and Laurie Saurage.

Glasgow Middle School was named top school in the junior division at the 2022 Region VII science and engineering fair!

In addition to winning several awards in their categories, Glasgow Middle School students won several special awards for their work. Timothy N. won first place overall, and Dev. I won second place overall. Please click here for the complete list of science fair winners.

Community Cash for Schools

Logo for Community Cash for Schools
The Community Cash For Schools program supports participating schools that collect Proofs of Purchase from Community products. These product Proofs of Purchase can be redeemed for cash that each school can spend to improve their school and fund the things they need. Schools can choose to allocate the money toward new textbooks, computers or even events. For decades, Community Cash for Schools has helped participating schools generate millions of dollars within the program.

Please turn in proofs of purchase from Community products to Glasgow's front office.
